We’re proud and excited to announce that Realize Strategies is now a certified Living Wage Employer! Here at Realize, we take pride in doing everything we can to ensure our team members have fair and competitive salaries and benefits. That’s why we are proud to share that we have a longstanding internal policy that the ratio of compensation between our most senior and junior team member will never exceed 3.5 : 1. Did you know the global average pay ratio between the highest and lowest paid member is 144 : 1?

We also choose to partner with external suppliers (ex. office supplies, catering, delivery, etc.) that are Certified B Corps or Buy Social Canada certified to ensure that we are supporting organizations that treat and compensate their employees fairly. As of June 1 2019, the minimum wage in BC is $13.85/hour; in comparison, the 2019 living wage for Metro Vancouver has been calculated at $19.50/hour. This significant gap can leave many families choosing between paying rent or buying groceries. Living Wage is an opportunity for businesses to step up and make a positive and tangible contribution to the lives of thousands of BC families earning minimum wage while still living below the poverty line.
